Q:
A:

Who is your all-time favorite recording artist?
I have so many, including The Beatles, Billy Joel and The Bee Gees, but my all-time favorite would be The Beach Boys.  I've always loved  their harmonies.  I can also lay claim to the fact that I saw the very last Beach Boys concert that included all three Wilson brothers (Brian, Carl & Dennis)--July 4, 1983, on the Pier at Atlantic City, New Jersey.

Q:
A:

What is your all-time favorite song?
That's a tough one!  Since The Beach Boys are my all-time favorite recording artists, it just makes sense that my all-time favorite song would be one of theirs.  I'd have to choose "Good Vibrations" (although Carl Wilson's vocals on "God Only Knows" still gives me chills!).  It was a ground breaking record for its time and still holds up as a great song and great listen today!  It was always one of the highlights of their live shows.

Q:

What was the first record you ever purchased?
It was a 45 RPM (remember those?) of "Do You Want To Know A Secret?" by The Beatles in 1964.  And yes, I still have it!

Q:
A:

What was the first concert you ever attended?
While attending summer camp in the Berkshires in 1969, I saw Joan Baez at the Lenox Performing Arts Center.

Q:
A:

What was the best concert you ever saw?
That's easy.  Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band, "The River" tour, Nassau Colliseum, December 1980.  The Boss did one of his patented marathon shows (more than 3 1/2 hours!).  What I remember most about that concert was being both physically and emotionally exhausted when it finally ended!  BRUUUUUUUUUUCE!
